Cutchogue is a hamlet in the Town of Southold, in the middle of Long Island's North Fork between Mattituck and Peconic. Its center is on Main Road, where the village green holds a group of historic buildings, among them the Old House, which dates to the seventeenth century.

Vineyards and farm stands line Main Road and the roads around the hamlet, and much of the land between them is still farmed. To the south, the small waterfront hamlet of New Suffolk sits on Peconic Bay, and Cutchogue Harbor and the creeks off the bay shape the shoreline on that side.

The housing stock mixes old and new. Historic homes and older houses sit near the village green and Main Road, farmhouses stand among the vineyards and fields, and cottages and water view homes are found near the bay and its creeks. Newer builds on former farmland round it out, in a mix of year round homes and seasonal ones. Older and historic homes can come with their own questions about age, systems, and maintenance, and we help buyers and sellers plan for them early.
